About us
Misty Mountain – a nature lover’s haven – is a 280 hectare South African Natural Heritage Site situated on the spectacular Long Tom Pass (31 kilometers from Lydenburg and 24 kilometers from Sabie), Mpumalanga; South Africa. Perched at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level in a malaria free area, Misty Mountain is uniquely set in mountainous countryside with majestic views across the escarpment and into the lowveld. Misty Mountain has 27 chalet units (total of 84 beds) offering comfortable, country style accommodation with easy access to the restaurant and all other facilities. Our accommodation is *** (3) Star graded through the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and accredited as Highly Recommended through the AA Quality Assured Accommodation Programme. We have 2 dedicated breakaway/meeting rooms, accommodating 12 delegates and 10 delegates respectively. We have another multi-purpose room that can be also used for breakaway purposes, accommodating up to 20 delegates.
