About us

Tilajari Hotel Resort is located in the lush San Carlos Valley in the north central region characterized by mountains, plains, rivers, lakes, rainforest and some outstanding natural wonders as the Arenal Volcano, Hot Springs, Fortuna Waterfall, Venado Caves and Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge. Set among 35 acres of magnificent gardens and tropical fruit trees overlooking the San Carlos River, guests can see crocodiles / caimans, giant iguanas and an immense variety of tropical birds. This makes us a garden paradise for nature tourism. Our well-appointed Costa Rica Resort Hotel is located in San Carlos, in the northern zone of the country, where cool mountains and warm plains full of ranches and farms combine with lush natural beauty and prosperous socio-economic development brought mainly by tourism. The main attraction in this county is without a doubt Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica’s most spectacular volcano and one of the most impressive active volcanoes in the world and our resort hotel is located less than 30 minutes from the volcano and its lake. We also offer a wide range of tours of the area, so that our guests can enjoy the most pleasant experience possible during their stay. Thanks to the size and excellent location of our facilities, Tilajari Hotel Resort is the best option for organizing special events. Our five halls can hold between 40 and 1000 persons and include full audiovisual equipment and catering service. This is the perfect option for any kind of activities as weddings, seminars, meetings, exhibitions, parties, incentive groups, etc.
