Das Uetia de Boerz Mountain Inn liegt auf 2.000 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel am atemberaubenden Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch, einem kleinen, malerischen Alpenpass im Herzen der Dolomiten in Südtirol. Es ist ein beliebtes Ziel für Tagesausflüge dank seines spektakulären Panoramas und seiner leicht zu erreichenden Lage. Das Alpengasthaus Ütia de Börz am Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch ist ein ausgezeichneter Ausgangspunkt für eine Vielzahl von Touren, wie die Gipfeltour, den Rundweg um den Peitlerkofel, einen der bekanntesten Berge der Region, der herrliche Ausblicke auf die umliegende Landschaft bietet. Der Legende nach kann man an klaren Tagen von dort oben bis Venedig sehen. Im Winter ist das Resort bei Fans von Langlauf, Rodeln und Winterwandern beliebt. Die Gegend um den Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch wird aufgrund ihrer unberührten, rauen Natur manchmal auch als „Klein-Alaska“ bezeichnet.

We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
