Sharjah ist ein enger Nachbar von Dubai (vom Zentrum von Sharjah zum internationalen Flughafen Dubai sind es nur 15 Autominuten). Sharjahs Kultur ist fest in den islamischen Traditionen Arabiens verwurzelt.
