About us
Die Hotel Monterey Group bringt ein neues Hotel mit dem Namen Hotel Monte Hermana nach Sendai (der Stadt der Bäume). Der Name bedeutet auf Spanisch „Schwester“ und könnte auch Princess Mountain bedeuten, da Monterey seinen Namen von King's Mountain ableitet. Die spanische Verbindung ist in Sendai besonders angemessen, da der Gründer der Stadt, der Samurai Masamune Date, im Mittelalter eine seltene Expedition nach Spanien finanzierte. Diese Beziehung zwischen Spanien und Sendai spiegelt sich in der Gestaltung des Hotels wider.
