Sharjah ist ein enger Nachbar von Dubai (vom Zentrum von Sharjah zum internationalen Flughafen Dubai sind es nur 15 Autominuten). Sharjahs Kultur ist fest in den islamischen Traditionen Arabiens verwurzelt. Der Islam ist mehr als eine Religion, er ist ein integraler Bestandteil des täglichen Lebens aller Muslime und zu den Grundwerten gehören Ehrlichkeit, Höflichkeit und Gastfreundschaft.
