El Museo del Cau Ferrat lo fundó en 1893 el artista Santiago Rusiñol (1861-1931) as casa-taller y se convirtió en museum publico en museo publico, conservando el espíritu artístico que le otorgó su fundador. Contiene colecciones de arte antiguo reunidas por el artista (pintura, iron forjado, cerámica, vidrio, arqueología, escultura y mobiliario) así arte moderno (pintura, dibujo, escultura) con obras de Rusiñol, Casas, Picasso, R. Pichot, Mas i Fontdevila, Zuloaga, Regoyos y Degouwe de Nucques, Enric Clarasó, Manolo Hugué, Pau Gargallo und andere. Las actividades organizadas por Rusiñol con la participación de otros artistas, músicos, escritores convirtieron el Cau Ferrat en el Templo del Modernismo.

Der Palau Maricel wurde 1910 von Charles Deering (1852-1927) erbaut. El palau es dreça sobre un conjunt de cases de pescadors que vorejaven el carrer Fonollar, i l'antic Hospital de Sant Joan. Das Krankenhaus wurde 1326 von Bernat de Fonollar, Generalmajor del Rei Jaume II d'Aragó und primer senyor particular de Sitges gegründet. Während des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde es umgebaut und umgebaut. Der große Salon von Maricel wurde am 18. Oktober 1912 eingeweiht. Utrillo hi va fer una conferència i s'hi van exhibir les adquisicions d'obres d'art que Deering preveia de situar al palau. Però Maricel, al contrari que El Cau Ferrat, no estava destinat a resitir el pas del temps. Der Deering von 1921 kehrte in sein Land zurück und war ein guter Teil seiner Sammlung. Actualment, els salons del palau Maricel i les seves terrasses, dekorades amb ceràmica popular, s'utilitzen per fer recepcions i congressos. La part de Mar conté el Museu Maricel, que dispa de diverses col·leccions relacionades amb Sitges, el modernisme i el col·leccionisme d'art.
