Am Fuße des Hügels, nur 500 m entfernt, befindet sich eine weitere bemerkenswerte Tempelanlage, Mnajdra, die sich über den südlichen Klippen befindet. Die umliegende Landschaft ist typisch mediterran und spektakulär in ihrer Schärfe und Abgeschiedenheit. Der Besuch der Tempel Hagar Qim und Mnajdra erstreckt sich über das Besucherzentrum, in dem sich die Eintrittskarten-, Empfangs-, Laden- und Ausstellungsbereiche befinden, und ein kleines 4D-Theater.
