About us

Das Berghotel Franzenshöhe liegt im Herzen des Nationalparks Stilfserjoch und lädt Sie ein, auf 2188 m Höhe in einer atemberaubenden hochalpinen Landschaft zu entspannen. Die gute Erreichbarkeit und die gleichzeitige relative Abgeschiedenheit machen es zum idealen Ausgangspunkt für eine Vielzahl von Sportaktivitäten, von Radfahren über Motorsport bis hin zum Sommerskifahren. Es kann aber auch als Ort der Ruhe und Besinnung dienen. Das Berghotel Franzenshöhe ist ein attraktives Seminarhotel hoch in den Bergen in einer unvergleichlichen alpinen Lage. Im Sommer 2006 kamen ein 60 m2 großer Seminarraum und zwei Gruppenräume aus hellen, natürlichen Materialien hinzu.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
