About us

Skaill House ist das schönste Herrenhaus in Orkney, das von 5000 Jahren Geschichte durchdrungen ist. Es steht imposant an der Atlantikküste von Orkney und nur 200 m vom weltberühmten neolithischen Dorf Skara Brae entfernt. Das Skaill House wurde 1620 erbaut und in seiner 400-jährigen Geschichte waren alle 12 seiner Lairds miteinander verwandt und alle haben zur Geschichte und Sammlung des Hauses beigetragen. Das Hotel besteht aus Apartments, die sich im Nordflügel des Skaill House befinden und zwei Seiten eines Innenhofs in der Mitte von Skaill House bilden. Das Skaill House liegt neben der Bucht von Skaill auf der wunderschönen Insel Orkney und ist ein romantischer und intimer Ort für Ihren besonderen Tag. Es ist lizenziert, standesamtliche Trauungen im Salon oder Speisesaal für bis zu 40 Personen abzuhalten.
