About us

The Riverside Sun, is situated on the banks of the Vaal River. Located a few kilometres away from Vanderbijlpark, the resort is only 40 minutes drive from Johannesburg. The hotel is an ideal destination for both business and relaxation purposes. Both the hotel and Riverview restaurant look out onto lush landscaped gardens sloping down to the Vaal River. An attractive pool deck provides the perfect venue for outdoor dining and is a popular weekend attraction. Guests are spoilt for choice with unrivalled sporting and leisure activities, including sundowner cruises on the Vaal River. Riverside Sun is a wonderful venue for weddings and can host intimate as well as more formal weddings. The accent at Riverside Sun is on comfort and friendly, efficient service. The staff extend a warm welcome from a tranquil and relaxing environment.
