About us
Die Kartause Ittingen ist ein ehemaliges Kartäuserkloster, eingebettet in die idyllische Thurlandschaft und umgeben von herrlichen Gärten in Warth bei Frauenfeld. Es gehört zu den wichtigsten Kulturdenkmälern der Bodenseeregion und ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel für Gäste aus nah und fern. Hinter den alten Klostermauern verbirgt sich eine Vielzahl von Einrichtungen: das Thurgauer Kunstmuseum, das Ittingen Museum, ein Hotel mit 68 Zimmern, das Restaurant Mühle mit gemütlichem Gartenrestaurant, eine erlesene Auswahl an Seminarräumen und Bankettsälen, ein Klosterladen, ein Gutsbetrieb mit Weinbau, eigener Gemüsegarten, Käserei und Metzgerei sowie eine kleine Forellenzucht und eine Holzofenbäckerei. Es verbindet auf einzigartige Weise klösterliche Werte wie Kultur, Spiritualität, Bildung, Fürsorge, Gastfreundschaft und Selbstversorgung. Unsere romantischen Gärten und verschiedene Banketträume bieten Gruppen von zehn bis 340 Personen den idealen Rahmen für eine unvergessliche Feier.
