Das Mellon Auditorium wurde zwischen 1926 und 1931 vom Architekten Arthur Brown, Jr. aus San Francisco entworfen und ist der Mittelpunkt einer dreigliedrigen Gebäudegruppe, die das zweistöckige Areal zwischen der 12. und 14.
