About us

Nestled in the picturesque town of White River (approximately 20km north of Nelspruit, the provincial capital of South Africa’s Mpumalanga Province) the Karula Hotel is the most affordable full-service hotel in the Lowveld. Karula offers comfortable accommodation as a base to explore the surrounding areas, as a retreat to take time out, or as a stop-over for the travelling businessman. All 47 bedrooms are situated in magnificent garden surroundings, each with its own private bathroom, telephone and TV with limited DSTV as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Our conference facilities are comfortable and fully air-conditioned. We can accommodate up to 55 delegates seated in "school room" style, or 30 delegates in a "U" shaped style. The hotel’s excellent facilities and attention to detail also make Karula Hotel the ideal conference venue.
