About us

Das Helena Thompson Museum befindet sich am Stadtrand von Workington und ist ein denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude, das heute als attraktiver Ort für standesamtliche Trauungen und Empfänge genutzt wird. Seine Hauptfunktion als Heimatmuseum und als Zentrum für bürgerliche Aktivitäten und Veranstaltungen behält es jedoch bei. Im Helena Thompson Museum stehen sechs Räume zur Verfügung, die für verschiedene Zwecke gemietet werden können. Diese reichen von der Größe unserer großen Ausstellungsgalerie, in der wir 70 Personen in Theaterbestuhlung, 40 Sitzplätzen an der Außenseite einer offenen Hufeisenanordnung oder 60/ 70 Personen an einzelnen Tischen für eine Veranstaltung in Buffetform aufnehmen können.
