Eine der beliebtesten Routen in der Tatra, die durch den Grund des Kościeliska-Tals bis zur Schutzhütte in Hala Ornak führt. Vor allem in der Sommersaison ist mit Menschenmassen auf dem Trail zu rechnen. Die Attraktivität des Tals wird durch interessante Felsformationen und für Touristen zugängliche Höhlen erhöht: Mroźna, Mylna, Raptawicka, Obłazkowa und Smocza Jama, die durch die malerische Schlucht von Krakau betreten werden können.

Es thront stolz über Zakopane und ist das Ziel vieler Touristen — sowohl der eingefleischten Profis als auch der neuen Touristen. Was Giewont zu einem besonderen Ort macht, ist ein 17,5 Meter hohes Metallkreuz auf seiner Spitze (2,5 Meter davon befinden sich in den Felsen). Es ist seit dem 19. August 1901 dort. Es wurde dort von den Gemeindemitgliedern von Zakopane zum Gedenken an den 1900-Jahrestag Jesu Christi installiert. Giewont erreichen wir von Kuźnice, Dolina Strążyska oder Dolina Małej Łąki aus, und jede dieser Strecken hat ihre Fans.

Es gibt auch ein Skigebiet Kasprowy Wierch für professionelle Skifahrer.
