Manhattan by Sail has a diverse fleet of ships that sail the NY Harbor daily and a myriad of options to experience the thrill of sailing in the world’s greatest harbor. The Clipper City, a 158-ft. tall ship accommodates up to 149 passengers. A more intimate experience can be had on the Shearwater, a historic schooner with capacity up to 49 passengers.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!

Casa Carmen is the new venture of a Mexican family led by renowned chef Carmen “Titita” Ramirez Degollado and her grandsons Sebastian and Santiago. The Mexican restaurant is an homage to their passion for traditional Mexican food, heritage ingredients, and dining customs. The space evokes the feeling of being in a subdued, earth-toned hacienda with high ceilings and a cozy ambiance. “Queremos que te sientas como en CASA ” We want to share with the world the traditional Mexican recipes from regions such as Veracruz, Puebla and Oaxaca, such as mole, guacamole and different kind of tacos. We use the finest and freshest ingredients and all our dishes are prepared with all our hearts. Our cocktail menu features mainly mezcal and tequila.

Teas, coffees, spices, wines, juices, and elixirs are organically cultivated on fair-trade cooperatives. The dining room includes found, salvaged, reclaimed, and recycled building materials. ABCV: Creative and forward-thinking plant forward dishes, tonic and cocktails, which highlight the best of mother nature. Helmed by Jean-Georges and Executive Chef Neal Harden, indulge your senses in a plant focused spread with vegan and gluten free options. In an effort to channel the ongoing plant-based movement, Jean-Georges has opened a second location at Tin Building, focusing solely on plant-based and vegan dishes.
