The Diplomatic Club is Doha’s premier private club. Seating up to eight people and featuring a specially installed BBQ grill, you can even ‘correct your course between courses’ with the compact outboard engine. With loads of storage under the seats and a fully adjustable sun shade, you can take to the gently undulating West Bay waters for hours. The BBQ unit is a low-smoke charcoal kettle grill, specially set up to ensure maximum safety and ease of use. The molded table settings ensure your food won’t slide off! If you fancy a little light music for a complete enjoyable ambiance, each donut comes fitted with a state-of-the-art sound system… The Club offers a wide range of leisure facilities and activities from a state of the art gym to an aerobic studio to fully relax or soak up after a hard working day. Our personal trainers and gym instructors are on hand for daily sport classes and personal training lessons. Relax after an intensive work out or a long day in our sauna and steam facilities, Jacuzzi, plunge pool. Other amenities include a swimming pool, lagoon shaped beach, tennis courts, squash court, lady only gym, beach volley court and many others… An array of water sports activities are available on request ranging from wakeboarding, waterskiing, kayaking, screamer rides, banana rides to fishing and leisure boat trips. The Spa offers many ways to relax and de-stress. First have your tensions eased away by one of our professional masseuses and choose from a menu of relaxing treatment (Reflexology, Hot stone, Swedish, Thai, Aromatherapy and The Diplomatic Club Special). The spa area features changing rooms with lockers a plunge pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room facilities. Getting ready for a big night out in town, a marvelous event or just looking for a new look? At the Beauty Center, in warm settings, have one of our professional hairstylist work their magic to suit your style and personality (in addition to regular hair services the beauty center does coloring, highlights, hair straitening and hair-up style). Areas of specialty are not limited to hair; the beauty center also provides nail care, facial treatment. The Club’s unique combination of pure Arabic style, exclusive location, service excellence and great cuisine makes it the place of choice for major events. The type and size of functions held are the Club are a testimony of how appreciated it is among both the local business community and the government. The Diplomatic Club hosted the opening dinner of the United Nations conference on trade and development (UNCTAD) with more than 2500 delegates. It was selected to celebrate Qatar Airways annual gala dinner (1500 delegates). The Diplomatic Club features a wide range of meeting facilities from the 960 m2 ballroom to the very exclusive Library. All areas have natural daylight. To fully take advantage of the facilities, the diplomatic club also has purpose-built pre function outdoor spaces.
