About us
Welcome to Down County Museum where the rich heritage of County Down is brought to life in fascinating exhibitions, lively events, hands-on activities and award winning education programs. Located on the top floor of the restored cell block and fully accessible by lift or stairs, the museum has a large conference room capable of seating 100 people. The room can be curtained off for use by smaller groups and there is a small committee room adjacent to the conference room with tea making facilities. Catering for functions may be arranged with the museum's tearoom.
