Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY In the event of cancellation, all deposits will be forfeited in addition to the following charges: Accommodation Block Up to and including 18 months prior to arrival: Holding deposits are non refundable. 18 months to 12 months prior to arrival: Up to 25% of remaining rooms per night reserved may be cancelled without charge. In excess of this amount, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the rate for any additional rooms cancelled will apply. 12 months to 6 months prior to arrival: Up to 15% of remaining rooms per night reserved may be cancelled without charge. In excess of this amount, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the rate for any additional rooms cancelled will apply. 6 months to 121 days prior to arrival: Up to 10% of remaining rooms per night reserved may be cancelled without charge. In excess of this amount a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the rate for any additional rooms cancelled will apply. 120 to 61 days prior to arrival: Up to 10% of remaining rooms per night reserved may be cancelled without charge. In excess of this amount a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the rate for any additional rooms cancelled will apply. 60 to 31 days prior to arrival: Up to 5% of remaining rooms per night reserved may be cancelled without charge. In excess of this amount a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the rate for any additional rooms cancelled will apply. 30 days prior to arrival: Full cancellation fees apply for all rooms cancelled within 30 days of arrival. Food, Beverages, & Conferencing In the event of cancellations and/or reduction of food and beverages or function space, the hotel must be notified in writing and it may be necessary to charge a cancellation fee. The amount of any cancellation will be calculated on a percentage basis of the estimated total banqueting revenue based on provisional numbers as noted in this agreement. Holding deposit will be retained and is non-refundable.  12 months - 35%  9 months - 50%  6 months – 75%  121 days – 80%  90 days – 90%  60 days – 100% Food & Beverages prices are based on the contracted number of guests. If numbers drop by more than 20%, prices may be revised.

Additional Information

LOCAL FEES & SERVICE CHARGE FOR ACCOMMODATION Notwithstanding anything to the contrary agreed between the parties, all amounts payable by the Client under this Agreement, whether the amount is paid as an advance payment, a deposit, on a fixed fee basis, or otherwise, are stated exclusive of 7% municipality fee, 10% service charge, Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (“DTCM”) tourism dirham fee of AED 20 per Hotel Room per night and 5% VAT For the purpose of this clause, "VAT" means any value added tax or similar consumption tax.
