Our resort is located 18 miles north of Covington, VA on Rt. 220. There are multiple options for getting to the resort. Commercial flights are available into Lewisburg, WV (1 hr), Roanoke, VA (90 Min), and Charlottesville, VA (90 Min). We also have a private airport with a 5600 foot runway that can accept up to 30 passenger jets. We have our own shuttle service and we also work with transportation companies in the region to bring guests to the resort.

The Warm Springs Bathhouses are two spa structures near Warm Springs, Virginia that just completed a $4 million restoration. The Gentlemen's Pool House is the oldest spa structure in the United States. The octagonal wood building was built in 1761. The spas are naturally fed by a 98 °F (37 °C) mineral spring. The men's spa holds 40,000 US gallons (150,000 L) of constantly flowing water. The Ladies’ Pool House was built in 1836. The buildings have changed little over the years, being made of wood with a central pool and a roof that is open to the elements. The site was listed as Warm Springs Bathhouses on the Virginia Landmarks Register on November 11, 1968 and the National Register of Historic Places on October 8, 1969.

With 43 miles of unspoiled shoreline, Lake Moomaw is a great location for everything from fishing and boating to bird watching and sunbathing. Lake Moomaw is a lake in western Virginia. It is formed by the Gathright Dam on the Jackson River. The lake is named for Benjamin Moomaw, a local businessman who was a promoter of the dam project. Up in the Alleghany Highlands, nestled into a canyon once called Kincaid Gorge, lies Gathright Dam. This massive earthen structure backs up the Jackson River for over 12 miles, forming Lake Moomaw. A U. S. Army Corps of Engineers project, Lake Moomaw was constructed for downstream flow augmentation (water quality), flood control, and recreation. Lake Moomaw is the second largest impoundment in western Virginia. It covers 2,530 surface acres and has a maximum depth of 152 feet. The impoundment is "drawn down" between 10-15 feet annually, beginning slowly in June and reaching its lowest level usually by September. There are 43 miles of undeveloped, wooded shoreline. Lake Moomaw is also known for its trout fishery.
