Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel has 7 unique event spaces, perfect to tailor to your needs with a front of house team that truly deliver the most memorable experiences. We have all the facilities you need for hosting a successful conference, meeting, training session or special event in Edinburgh. AV within all meeting spaces has been recently upgraded and free WIFI is available throughout all areas of the hotel along with complimentary business desk and USB connections in all bedrooms. Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel has 199 luxuriously appointed bedrooms including 15 suites alongside 8 meeting rooms. All bedrooms will have colour flat screen TV, hairdryer, iron and board, tea and coffee, and 24 hour room service. Ideally located for short breaks in Edinburgh, the hotel is just two minutes’ walk from Princes Street and overlooks the magnificent Edinburgh Castle. The hotel has an onsite car park and easy access from Haymarket and Waverley train stations and is just a 20 minute drive from Edinburgh Airport. Kimpton Charlotte Square offers a truly unique experience to each and every group, event and traveller. The energy is so fresh and effervescent that you’ll want to bottle it and bring it home—but then again, it feels too distinctly Edinburgh to make sense anywhere else. Our sister property, InterContinental Edinburgh The George is 7 minutes walk along the same road in the New Town and offers another 239 rooms for any larger group that could be split between both hotels. Travel by Rail The nearest train station is the Edinburgh Waverley Station and is only half a mile, or a 15-minute walk, from the hotel. It has direct service to the London King's Cross railway station. Getting a taxi from the station takes approximately 5 minutes, and a typical fare is £10. Travel by Road Kimpton Charlotte Square offers a valet parking service for our guests in a secure underground car park beneath the hotel (subject to availability). Valet parking must be reserved in advance directly with the hotel and is available for the price of £45 per 24h period. Should guests be driving an electric car, we now also have Electric Vehicle Charging Stations available for our guests at a cost of £25 per charge. Travel by Air The Edinburgh International Airport is just 7 miles, or 25 minutes via taxi, from Kimpton Charlotte Square. A typical fare is under £35 (higher on public holidays). There is regular tram service for £7.90 for a single trip, or £9.50 return, which takes about 40 minutes and stops at Princes Street West End. Please be advised that the prices mentioned above can change at any time without prior notice.
