About us

Granen opened its doors for the first time in 1916, and ever since has welcomed into its warm lodgings many skiers – both famous and not-so-famous. The hotel’s atmosphere gives a sense of personal touch and high-quality service, with its crackling fireplaces, snug armchairs and library corner packed with books. We want you to feel right at home during your stay with us. The staff at Granen are all skiing enthusiasts, and will happily assist you and your party find the best skiing spots, as well as provide you with information on what the village of Åre has to offer.
