The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is consistently voted as one of the top airports in the United States and one of the fastest growing in the country. Located just 7.5 miles or a quick 15-minute drive from downtown Austin, the airport services 75+ nonstop domestic and international destinations (including London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Panama City, Mexico City, Calgary, Montréal and Toronto), with roughly 200+ daily flights. The airport is currently undergoing a major expansion project with the first phase to be completed in 2026, adding 84,500 square feet, three additional gates and even more amenities for travelers to enjoy. As early as 2030, a new concourse will open to create at least 20 new airline gates to support more air service to Austin. Easy to get to and easy to get through, passengers enjoy exceptional customer service Austin-style, with art exhibits, local food (from brisket and breakfast tacos to Shiner Bock beer) and live music performances at five unique stages in the airport. Getting to and from the airport - and all around town - is easy. Most major rental car and ride-hailing companies are available at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and other standard transportation options include the Capital Metro bus system and Metrorail, bike and scooter rentals, pedicabs and more.

The party runs from Thursday through Saturday every week along Sixth Street from I-35 to Congress Avenue.

South Congress Avenue occupies a hilly and tree-filled part of Austin just south of the Colorado River. Make sure to snap a few photos of the public art throughout the district, including every couple’s favorite, the “I Love You So Much” mural.

Circuit of The Americas, locally known as COTA, is regarded as one of the top venues in the United States for motorsports and entertainment. A purpose built venue specifically for Formula 1 racing, COTA also provides fans and visitors with interactive programming and activities from regular tours and go kart racing to outdoor concerts in the summer and a Winter Wonderland holiday festival and more. 15 miles southeast of downtown Austin, the 120,000 maximum capacity track was completed in 2012. The site also includes the racetrack, Germania Insurance Amphitheater, and the new Bold Stadium, home to Austin Bold FC and the Austin Gilgronis, completed in 2019.

Downtown Austin’s Congress Avenue Bridge shelters the largest urban bat colony in North America. From late March through early fall, between up to 1.5 million Mexican free tailed bats fly out of the bridge near dusk on a nightly expedition cascading East over Lady Bird Lake.
