Located 25 miles east of Eagle Vail Airport (EGE), guests can arrive and be to the hotel within 30 minutes of landing. (www.flyvail.com) Denver International Airport (DEN) is 110 miles east of the hotel and approximately a two hour drive through historic mining towns and the Eisenhower tunnel along I-70. The White River National Forest is right in our backyard and offers a seemingly endless amount of trail systems with over 860 miles of trails to explore. In addition to all the hiking in the immediate area, there are a number of 14,000 ft. peaks close by for the adventurous crowd looking for a more difficult challenge. The peaks of most of these are accessible in the summer without specialized equipment, although it is only recommended for very athletic.
