About us
The timeless modern Mövenpick Hotel Basel is the new flagship for Movenpick Hotels & Resorts and your perfect place for an inspiring event. Conveniently located in the city centre, this sustainably constructed hotel offers an elegant place for rest and relaxation. The nearly 2000m² event area is divided into 16 flexible and air-conditioned meeting rooms. Generous foyers with natural daylight provide the ideal space for standing lunches, coffee breaks and cocktails. Our elegant ballroom with a five meter high ceiling allows festivities for up to 600 guests. The conference rooms on the second and third floor impress with individual design and multi-functionality combined with a fascinating view of Basel’s hustle and bustle. Free wireless internet access in the entire hotel is a matter of course for us. The internationally renowned interior designer Matteo Thun is responsible for the warm and cosy atmosphere in our 260 rooms including 20 junior suites, 9 suites and one presidential suite with 154m² on the hotel’s top floor. All rooms offer a wealth of amenities: in addition to free coffee and tea facilities, high-speed internet and access to our luxurious fitness & spa on 240m² with sauna, steam bath and relaxation area, the breath-taking view over Basel is a firm part of the programme.
