About us
We started 15 years ago, as the first really large lodge in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, providing budget accommodation. We have subsequently expanded our business, and are now able to offer varying types of affordable accommodation in a range of different guest houses, executive flats, cottages and apartments in Observatory, Rosebank and Rondebosch. Riverview Lodge’s main guest lodge, Riverview Lodge, can accommodate up to 180 people in various combinations of single, twin and dorm bedrooms, ideal for sports teams, Universities, Technicons, N.G.O.’s as well as school groups looking for budget accommodation. We also have several self catering cottages in Observatory, Rosebank and Rondebosch, as well as 16 executive flats and a number of Victorian houses and cottages. These are all situated very close to U.C.T. and are ideal for visiting academics and students needing short or long term accommodation. Our conference facilities include a well equipped hall, which can seat 200 people, as well as several ‘break away’ rooms for smaller groups. The venues that we use are not on our premises, but are within easy walking distance of the lodge.
