About us
Marimba Restaurant is located in Cape Town International Convention Centre. Over 7 years we have hosted most of the top companies in one form or another eg. we have had Minister Valli Moosa’s retirement party; the 2010 FIFA World Cup function; pre J&B Met and MCQP parties: the Mayor’s VIP reception for guests at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival (7 years running), launches for Landrover, Audi and Golf GTi, with vehicles on site; countless financial, product and property launches that require sophisticated equipment for audio-visual presentations; fashion shows, cd launches, sporting events on a big screen, poker evenings, weddings, bar mitzvahs, and much more. Flexibility is our second name and we aim to please. One can choose from a wide range of cocktail, a la carte, feast and buffet menus. Our facilities are designed to cater for groups of up to 200-220 people sit-down or 600 stand-up. Whether it is a breakfast presentation, quick conference lunch, gala evening or a relaxing dinner venue, we are able to compile an event to remember. We have a full in-house A.V. system at your disposal including automatic room screen, data projector and state of the art audio system.
