OVERVIEW Settle into brand new accommodations as part of the hotels $150M renovation (completed spring 2024)! Located within the epicenter of downtown Chicago with vibrant onsite dining options and over 240,000 square feet of meeting space, Hyatt Regency Chicago is the ideal location to host your next meeting or event. RENOVATION Fresh off a massive renovation, Hyatt Regency Chicago is looking better than ever. Completed in 2024, the first phase of the refresh included all 2,032 guestrooms and suites, plus the elegant Crystal and Regency Ballrooms. These areas now feature stunning modern finishes that bring new life to the space. In 2025, the hotel’s concourse meeting rooms and public areas were updated to match the new look and feel, creating a fresh and seamless experience throughout the property. COMING SOON! A $20M+ project is in underway to completely transform the 24K SF Grand Ballroom. Set to wrap in early 2026, the renovation also includes the surrounding pre-function space, restrooms, and meeting rooms. Enhancements include: • Complete renovation of all 2,032 guestrooms and suites • Revitalization of Regency and Crystal Ballrooms • Massive digital LED screens in pre-function spaces • Design elements and art packages throughout feature elements of Chicago’s history, while the color palette is a homage to Chicago’s Greystones MEETING SPACE Our diverse array of meeting space offers state-of-the art technology, allowing meeting professionals to be at peak productivity during their event. Buckingham Fountain is a Chicago Landmark in the center of Grant Park, between Queen's Landing and Ida B. Wells Drive. Dedicated in 1927 and donated to the city by philanthropist Kate S. Buckingham, it is one of the largest fountains in the world. Built in a rococo wedding cake style and inspired by the Latona Fountain at the Palace of Versailles, its design allegorically represents nearby Lake Michigan. The fountain operates from May to mid-October, with regular water shows and evening colored-light shows. During the winter, the fountain is decorated with festival lights.
