Ideal for business and leisure guests, this hotel is just three hours’ drive from South Luangwa National Park and 15km from the Malawi border. Located on the outskirts of Chipata town surrounded on all sides by hills, hence the name meaning gateway Protea Hotel Chipata has 40 rooms, all with en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, electronic door locks and safes, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Guests can take a tour of the South Luangwa National Park that is about three hours’ drive from Chipata. The national park has an abundance of exotic wildlife and features a wildlife sanctuary. Its a hotel that complements your travel style. Protea Hotel Chipata has a modern restaurant with an outside terrace area overlooking the swimming pool and spacious gardens. There is also a sports bar as well as conference facilities for up to 80 delegates.
