Located on the outskirts of Chipata town surrounded on all sides by hills, hence the name meaning gateway Protea Hotel Chipata has 40 rooms, all with en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, electronic door locks and safes, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Guests can take a tour of the South Luangwa National Park that is about three hours’ drive from Chipata. The national park has an abundance of exotic wildlife and features a wildlife sanctuary. Its a hotel that complements your travel style. Protea Hotel Chipata has a modern restaurant with an outside terrace area overlooking the swimming pool and spacious gardens. There is also a sports bar as well as conference facilities for up to 80 delegates.
