Centrally located in South Carolina's historic state capital, our convention center is in the middle of an exiciting urban scene that includes open-air cafes, deluxe accommodations, live music, exciting sports venues, and concert tours. With our temperate seasons, Columbia offers your guests a perfect year-round business and social climate with a wide variety of world-class cultural and natural attractions. We're also only minutes away from major airport and interstates, giving you access to anywhere you need to be. Built in 2004, our downtown convention center is a modern and architecturally significant complex that's played host to some of the hottest special events in the Southeast. From magnificent receptions and cultural galas to corporate functions and international trade shows, our center is adaptable to the needs of most any meeting planner. The center is an impressive 142,500 square foot meeting/exhibit facility that offers bright and spacious pre-function spaces, a 16,700 square foot ballroom, 18,500 square feet of meeting space and a 23,700 square foot column-less exhibit hall.

From Greenville, take I-26 East to Columbia, then I-126 to Huger Street. Go 0.8 miles and turn left at the 4th traffic light onto Gervais Street. Go 0.3 miles to the second traffic light where you will turn right onto Lincoln Street. The CMCC is one block down on the right.
From Florence, take I-20 West to Exit 73A to merge onto S Carolina 277 S toward Columbia. Continue for 6.6 miles onto Bull Street. Continue for 0.9 miles and turn right onto Gervais street, go 0.6 miles then turn left onto Lincoln Street. The CMCC will be one block down on the right.
From Charleston, take I-26 West to Columbia. Take exit 115 to merge onto US-176 N/US-21N/US-321N toward Cayce. Continue 6 miles and turn left onto Huger Street. Continue for 0.6 miles and turn right on Gervais Street. Continue for 0.4 miles and turn right onto Lincoln Street. The CMCC will be one block down on the right.
From Charlotte, take I-77 South to Columbia. Take exit 18 to merge onto S Carolina 277 S toward Augusta/1-20W/Columbia. Continue for 8.1 miles onto Bull Street. Continue 0.9 miles turn right onto Gervais Street. Go 0.6 miles and then turn left on Lincoln Street. The CMCC will be one block down on the right.
From Atlanta, take I-20 East to Columbia. Take Exit 64A toward 1-26E/Columbia. Continue for 0.5 miles and merge onto 1-26 East. Take exit toward Huger Street. Continue for 0.2 miles and merge onto US-176E/US-21 S/ US-321 S. Continue for 0.8 miles and turn left onto Gervais Street. Continue for 0.4 miles and Turn right onto Lincoln Street. The CMCC will be one block down on the right.
From the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, head south onto Airport Blvd for 0.9 miles then turn right onto John N. Hardee Expressway. Turn left onto SC-302/Airport Blvd. Continue for 2.3 miles and turn slightly left onto US-176 W/US-321 N (Charleston Hwy). Continue for 2.6 miles and then turn left on Huger Street. Three Rivers Greenway

Here you'll find where city and nature meet. The Three Rivers Greenway is a beautiful series of riverfront pathways – where the Broad, Saluda, and Congaree Rivers meet. It includes lighted trails and boardwalks, outdoor amphitheaters, restrooms and breathtaking views of the Columbia skyline in a dog friendly and ADA accessible environment. The South Carolina State House and grounds are home to historic monuments, flowers, plaques, and the iconic state house steps, all showcasing the history of South Carolina. Take a guided tour inside the building during certain hours to learn more about Columbia's past.
You can also meander through the historic building or the grounds on your own accord with the help of a State House brochure. Be sure to look out for the bronze stars on the outside of the building that mark where Sherman's cannons hit during the Civil War.
