About us
The Pumphouse is conveniently located on the outskirts of Durham City, where town meets country. Durham Railway station, on the main east coast line is less than 2 miles away. The A1 is less than 3 miles from our door. Opened in December 2002, the restaurant is one of Durham's best kept secrets. With its unique décor, the restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Dining Room at The Pumphouse can be found at the far side of the garden. Its secluded setting makes it a prime spot for all occasions, whether it is corporate or personal. Seating a maximum of 18 guests, we aim to accommodate all requirements; all you have to do is ask.
