About us
Durham Castle is one of the premier venues for wedding receptions in the North East. The magnificent Great Hall, which dates from 1284, can take wedding breakfasts of up to 200, with guests able to enjoy an arrival drinks reception in the Courtyard. The Senate room is capable of holding up to 60 guests in theatre style. Both the rooms are fitted with necessary infrastructure to make your event successful and memorable.
