About us
Located on the High Weald in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Hoath House sits overlooking the border between Kent and Sussex. It is the perfect setting for a large family or group event; be it a wedding, a party or a holiday. It offers seven double ensuite bed rooms, of which four will comfortably fit a family, and the other three can be made into twin rooms at your convenience. You can come and stay and throw a party; get married and have a party afterwards, or you can just come to relax in the six acre garden in the heart of the country, walking distance from five country pubs, fifteen minutes on a bike from Chiddingstone Castle, Hever Castle and Penshurst Place; and only forty five minutes to London by train. With four large reception rooms it can comfortably accommodate up to 100 and 180 if you want to put a marquee on the lawn. The Drawing Room is an intimate venue for a smaller wedding. The Old Library, seating sixty in comfort, offers a more traditional setting.
