Istvan Dobo Castle Museum maintains and operates it, is among nation’s most frequented museum institutions, receiving over 400,000 visitors a year. On November 5, 2005, the national monument underwent an expansion: the addition of the renovated Dobó Bastion. The bastion’s third floor holds an advanced conference room. It is ideal not only for academic and professional conferences, but also for tourist programs and student or school group activities, to bring the sights and experiences of the rest of the Castle Museum to life. By use of mobile partitions, the conference room can be divided into three separate chambers.
