The InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa is a Polynesian-inspired resort with 246 newly renovated guest rooms set among low-rise, ocean view buildings and various overwater bungalows at the waters edge. Groups are offered a combination of garden-view and ocean-view rooms, and VIP's can be upgraded to panoramic view rooms overlooking the island of Moorea or the quintessential overwater bungalows showcasing the sparkling blue ocean. Our oceanside resort is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Papeete's Faa'a International Airport, the main airport in French Polynesia, and 20 minutes from downtown Papeete. Offering either one king-size or two queen-size beds, For the ultimate in Polynesian luxury, we offer 25 overwater bungalows and suites with panoramic views of the ocean, sunsets, and nearby Moorea. Dining options are varied and range from Le Lotus, our fine dining restaurant overlooking the sea, the Huriama Garden Lounge, with its tapas-style menu and garden-lounge atmosphere, it’s perfect for a relaxed meal or drinks, especially at sunset with views facing Moorea to Te Tiare restaurant delivering the best Polynesian show in Tahiti. We also offer 4 bars throughout the resort to capture the colors of the nightly sunsets. Resort guests can indulge in a host of complimentary activities including snorkeling, kayak, tennis, padel, jogging track and various cultural demonstrations each week, as well as a fitness center open 24/7. Or choose to unwind at the Deep Nature Spa or our two freshwater infinity pools. Golf International Olivier Bréaud gold course is located on the west coast of Tahiti, at Atimaono, 25 miles from the centre of Papeete. It offers an 18-hole and 9-hole golf course that is accessible to beginners and experienced golfers alike. This course is renowned internationally for the quality of its open fairways and greens with spectacular sea views. The course at Atimaono is 5,950 metres long for a 72 stroke par, and is approved by the French Golf Federation. It welcomes numerous international players annually to the Open International de Tahiti (Tahiti International Open) which today makes it part of the PGA (Professional Golf Association) FPG (Federation Polynésienne de Golf – Polynesian Golf Federation) circuit.
