About us

Hotel Opera offers 200 rooms decorated with a personal touch, a tasteful à la carte restaurant and conference facilities for up to 80 participants. The hotel offers 3 meeting rooms. The hotel is ideally positioned on Drottningtorget. The Swedish Exhibition Centre, Liseberg amusement park and the city's other cultural and entertainment attractions are all within easy walking distance. Just as close are the shopping district of Nordstan and the atmospheric quarter around Kungsgatan and Östra Hamngatan. As we are also in close proximity to the central station and Nils Ericson bus terminal. Hotel Opera is a four-star hotel for travellers who value quality and smooth service. During that time, Julie developed a line of dressings and sauces sold to large retail store chains in Canada and Mexico. In 1989, Julie was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award. In 2006, Julie was inducted into the BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
