About us

Baleens Hotel is situated one road from the beach in Voelklip, Hermanus and is an easy walk to the beautiful Blue Flag Grotto Beach. The Hermanus lagoon meets the sea in front of the hotel and the birdlife is spectacular. Behind the hotel rise the majestic Klein River Mountains and the Fernkloof Nature Reserve. We offer the ideal spot to relax in a casual but comfortable atmosphere. We have 22 rooms, seven with sea facing balconies and four with mountain views. We welcome groups. All rooms are comfortable and informal - catering for those travelers who expect good, clean and comfortable accommodation without paying the "luxury" rate. The hotel also features a conference room.
