Newton Johnson Vineyard

About us
Newton Johnson Vineyards is based near the seaside town of Hermanus, an hour and a half's drive out of Cape Town. This is a popular tourist destination, famous for some of the most spectacular land-based whale watching in the world and also known for its bracing champagne air, lush indigenous fynbos (literally fine bush, a plant kingdom exclusive to the Cape), mountain walks and bike trails. Situated amongst the fynbos and abundant birdlife high against the Galpin Peak Mountain with breathtaking vistas of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley from the majestic Babelonstoring Mountains over the Boskopdam and Botriver Lagoon towards the Atlantic Ocean and the distinctive Hangklip Mountain on the horizon is a little gem called Heaven Restaurant that also caters for small intimate functions of up to 60 people.
