About us
The Marriott Westchase is located just west of downtown and the Galleria area in Westchase and the Energy Corridor which is home to some of the world's major energy and software companies. Marriott Westchase is easily accessible by major freeways to both International Airports-Bush Intercontinental and Hobby. Attractive features to meeting planners include: 40,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, which breaks into 22 rooms all located on the ground level of the hotel. Included in the 40,000 sq. ft. is a multi-use exhibition center with 15,000 sq. ft. of space and an elegant ballroom with 9,500 sq. ft. In 2016 all 604 guest rooms/suites, meeting space, Starbucks shop were redesigned. The M-Club lounge, a new addition, opened in January 2017, and caters to both Gold and Platinum Marriott Rewards members. The hotel's large fitness center with all new state of the art equipment, lobby, restaurant and lounge were completely renovated in March of 2013. The hotel offers over 1,000 complimentary parking spaces, including bus and exhibit parking. Restaurants, shopping and much more are just outside our doors. Complimentary transportation is offered from 6:30 am-11:00 pm within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. The hotel's staff is truly international, diverse and caters to a high percentage of international guests.

Westside Tennis Club was purchased in 1995 by Jim and Linda McIngvale. An established tennis club, over 25 years in existence, the club held 42 outdoor tennis courts and 6 indoor courts. Marketing to the avid tennis player, the McIngvales installed all four grand slam surfaces, including 4 grass courts, 4 indoor rebound ace courts, 4 French red clay courts and hard courts to meet the USTA specifications of the US Open. Over the next 10 years, the club would host numerous professional tennis events including: the Women's Legends event, Men's Nuveen Tour, US Davis Cup Semi Final, the ATP International event, the US Men's Clay Court for seven years, the year ending ATP Men's event and the Master's Cup in 2003 and 2004.
