The historic Aldourie Estate is home to the only habitable castle on the southern shores of Loch Ness. Just 5 miles from the city of Inverness yet in a world of its own, Aldourie is a unique and enchanting opportunity to take over an entire Castle as your own home. With its turrets, towers and setting Aldourie offers all the fairytale grandeur and glamour you need for a truly magical experience. Enjoy the adventure of the Highland’s or simply lose yourself in the mystery and folklore of Loch Ness. Stay for a week, or even a month Aldourie Castle is yours to enjoy for any occasion – whether it be special celebrations, strategic meetings, corporate incentive stays or simply to relax and enjoy. The Castle is bursting with traditional opulence, classic style and warm Scottish hospitality. Unlike a private club or hotel, there are no rules and regulations and no set times for anything. The fifteen bedrooms at Aldourie also offer an equally indulgent experience with rich fabrics and elegant furniture, grand four poster beds draped in sumptuous velvets and the coziest of rooms with a charm all of their own. Nestling around the grounds is a collection of delightful holiday cottages. Available individually or as additional Castle accommodation the four cottages can each sleep up to 6 people and enjoy all the benefits of the Aldourie Castle Estate. Furnished with the same care and attention as the Castle, albeit on a much humbler scale each of the cottages exude their own individual charm with roaring log fires, beautiful views and unique settings.
