About us
The Old Mill is a converted watermill, situated by the River Sowe. The origins of this unique building stretch back into the mists of time where the first written records of the mill appear in the Domesday Book. In the 19th Century, a thousand years of milling came to an end when the mill buildings were converted into a private dwelling, but many of the unique features of that dwelling have been retained, such as the roughly hewn beams in our traditional British pub.
