About us
The Lodge, Carfraemill is situated on the junction of the A68/A697 at the gateway to the Scottish Borders and only 21 miles south of Edinburgh. Carfraemill is your home away from home offering excellent food, great comfort and the best of Scotland’s service. There are ten individually designed bedrooms with immaculate en-suite bathrooms are delightful, elegant and comfortable, offering the discerning traveler the very best of Borders hospitality and a good night's rest. We have six double rooms. Two twin rooms and two family rooms which consist of a double bedded room and adjacent room with adult size bunk beds. The Campbell Room can accommodate a maximum of 150 delegate’s theater style but is also an ideal room to use for training sessions requiring a U shape, boardroom or cabaret style. The Marquee which is available May to October and is adjacent to the hotel can seat up to 300 people. The Conservatory is suitable for small meetings, private lunches or dinners or as a break out area for larger meetings in the Campbell Room or Gallery.
