About us

The Launceston Tram Shed is located a leisurely 5 minutes walk to the Launceston Central Business District, accommodation and restaurant venues. Our complex is situated within the Inveresk Rail Yards Precinct. Presently the precinct includes, Queen Victoria Museum & Art Gallery, University Of Performing Arts, Aurora Stadium (York Park), Northern Branch - Education Department and Blue Cafe. The Launceston Tram Shed Function Centre and Auditorium has a choice of 4 function rooms for conferences, audio visual presentations, seminars, training, banquets, receptions, exhibitions and trade shows. These rooms are available in a range of sizes to suit requirements.
