Opened in April 2017 and designed by the prestigious architect Francisco Mangado, the new Palma Convention Centre places Palma on the map of the world's leading business destinations. The Convention & Exposition Center of Palma - Palau de Congressos de Palma is a best-in-class destination conference venue: full-service conference facilities, versatility and high level of service, the perfect harmony between technology, design, cost-effectiveness, business & leisure. Located in front of the sea, strategically positioned near the International Airport of Palma (5 minutes drive), and 10 minutes’ walk from the historical city center. The Auditorium Illes Balears is one of the most stunning spaces at the Palau, with capacity up to almost 2,000 people, provides comfortable seating, the latest technology and a great ambience thanks to ingenious acoustic and lighting. The Auditorium Mallorca has a capacity of 462 seats, and both auditoriums can be internally connected creating an immense unique venue, with a large stage for product launches at a great scale. Palma Congress Center, stage of the largest events and congresses held in Mallorca, continues to improve its technical equipment. High speed Wi-Fi connectivity remains one of the most demanded attributes and valued by business customers The Palma Congress Center offers high-speed Wi-Fi with speeds of up to 2GB. The accommodation could be divided in 5 Meliá hotels, located in the city of Palma. Meliá Palma Bay is the hotel annexed to the Palma Congress Center, and 4 hotels are in the paseo marítimo (seafront promenade Marina area). These 4 hotels are walking distance between them, so it is easier in terms of logistic to transport the people by transfer to the Congress Center (10 minutes).
