About us

Otello hotel is the ideal place to stay or to spend a weekend in the maximum comfort and relax. It overlooks the Lake Bolsena; it has seven rooms provided with every kind of comfort. The family management makes the hotel calm and relaxing, and people looking for a break from the everyday chaotic life mostly appreciate this. Our rooms are designed to give our clients the maximum comfort and relax. Every room is characterized by a special colour, which makes it different from the others. Otello Restaurant can comfortably host up to 300 people. It is equipped with two verandas, overlooking the Lake Bolsena promenade, thus offering our clients a wonderful landscape. In addition to these two verandas, the restaurant has also a third room, where our clients can enjoy the unique old centre of Marta. Thanks to its location and accommodation, Otello Restaurant is the ideal place to organize ceremonies, banquets, meetings and buffets. The food takes inspiration from the traditional ancient recipes, using fresh and healthy products.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
