Having previously worked with The Langham on large in-person summits over several years we were confident the event would run smoothly, however the challenges imposed by COVID brought additional issues that needed careful consideration in order for the summit ran successfully for the speakers and guests dialling in from around Australia and overseas and for the attendees who were at the venue in person. In short, there were a lot of things to consider and cater for. We were impressed with the professionalism of the Langham's AV technicians, who worked well with the live-stream company we contracted to present seamless speaker presentations, panel discussions and in-room AV simultaneously broadcast globally and onto the big screens in the Ballroom. They were supportive and responsive during our planning process, the trial-run and on the day. The event concluded with a much appreciated buffet lunch and the opportunity for personal interaction and networking.
