About us

Script Bar & Bistro is a very nice restaurant. It has great food (esp. the Mushroom Ravioli which was yum), a good selection of wines and very quick service especially when attending a play at the Sumner theater. Script is the perfect venue for pre and post theatre dining. Being located in the MTC Sumner theatre complex, that’s exactly what it was designed for. But it’s not your average ‘venue café’; it’s a good quality restaurant serving well-prepared and cooked dishes supported by a small but excellent wine list.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
