About us

Sokos Hotel Vaakuna is in the centre of Mikkeli, in the city, in the heart of life. The hotel comprises 176 rooms and two restaurants. The great sauna department features a bubble pool; massage and treatment services available. The hotel has two parking lots and covered outdoor parking spaces, parking is chargeable. The hotel also has 15 well-equipped meeting rooms and an auditorium. The railway station is just a 5 minutes' walk away.

Kevin was a standout alto saxophonist in elementary and middle school, then switched to tenor sax as an adult. Inspired by BB King’s killer horn section, Kevin began honing his skills playing the blues. Yes, Plastic straws and stirrers replaced with eco-friendly alternatives offered on request. Branded plastic pens are replaced with recyclable pens. Use of refillable soaps and shampoos where possible. Pins in hotel rooms to help sort plastic waste.
